Biography

Benny Dayal is an Indian playback singer known for his versatile voice and energetic singing style across multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and more. Born on 13 May 1984 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, he was raised in a Malayali family and later moved to India to pursue his music career.

He began his musical journey as a member of the band S5, which was formed through a music reality show. His talent was recognized by renowned composer A.R. Rahman, who gave him his breakthrough opportunity in playback singing. 

Benny gained widespread popularity with songs like “Kaise Mujhe” from Ghajini and later delivered multiple chartbusters across Bollywood and South Indian cinema. Known for his ability to adapt to different genres including pop, rock, and classical fusion, he has worked with leading music directors such as A.R. Rahman, Vishal-Shekhar, and Pritam.

With a career spanning over two decades, Benny Dayal has sung thousands of songs in various Indian languages and continues to perform at concerts, music festivals, and international events, making him one of the most dynamic voices in the Indian music industry.
